Spring Health & Beauty Tip 27 – Breakfast in a Jar!

Ok, so I know that I am getting a little bit obsessive with the jars but they just make life so easy…. and a great way to up cycle any leftover ones you have.

For some reason it just makes things a thousand times easier on the morning when you can just grab a jar out the fridge rather than making something up… and once again, they just look so pretty!

Exact same principe as the Salad in a Jar post but this is breakfast.  For me nothing beats plain no fat yogurt with Granola and Summer Berries.

As long as they are kept in the fridge, it should keep as long as the products would have before so usually a couple of days.

Spring Health & Beauty Tip 5 – ‘Clean’ Banana Pancake

Easiest recipe ever!

  • Take one large banana and two eggs.
  • Mash the banana
  • Whisk the eggs
  • Mix the banana and eggs together
  • Cook like a pancake

photo copyAnd that’s it!  A delicious healthy clean dessert which includes one of your 5 a day!

In this picture I have added a little no-fat yogurt and some blueberries – yum yum yum!

Just one tip – the batter is thicker than a normal pancake mix so make sure you spread it thinly and move it around the pan more – unless you want to do the American style smaller and thicker pancake – this batter is perfect for that.
