Spring Health & Beauty Tip 27 – Breakfast in a Jar!

Breakfast to go…

Spring Health & Beauty Tip 27 – Breakfast in a Jar!

Ok, so I know that I am getting a little bit obsessive with the jars but they just make life so easy…. and a great way to up cycle any leftover ones you have.

For some reason it just makes things a thousand times easier on the morning when you can just grab a jar out the fridge rather than making something up… and once again, they just look so pretty!

Exact same principe as the Salad in a Jar post but this is breakfast.  For me nothing beats plain no fat yogurt with Granola and Summer Berries.

As long as they are kept in the fridge, it should keep as long as the products would have before so usually a couple of days.

Got any other recipes?  Leave me a comment and let me know.

Happy Breakfasting x

  1. I love overnight oats: 1 cup porridge oats, 1 scoop chocolate or strawberry protein powder, 1 cup milk and mix, and then pour into a jar (of course!) and leave in the fridge overnight ready to just add a bit of fruit to in the mornings. NOM. ❤

  2. I love oaty banana biscuits – just blend a handful or oats with a blended smooth banana – this sticks the oaty paste together, make into a pattie and stick it in the oven for 15 minutes on 180 degrees C, you can add things to these too – I like cinnamon and seeds for an extra crunch and the cinnamon makes it nice and warm tasting – sorry no fay included- but I guess if you made them small enough you could store them in a jar? Just top with plain yogurt and either honey or berries and its amazing for a morning meal 🙂
